This gorgeous edge grain charcuterie board / cheese board is handmade from Canadian maple with a contrasting Purpleheart strip. Its size is approximately 8 inches (20 cm) x 15 inches (38 cm) x 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) thick with a handle and a leather loop hanger, and it weighs about 1.5 lbs. (0.7 kg).
 
Each board is created from carefully selected hardwood that are cut into strips which are then permanently glued together with waterproof, food-safe glue, then planed, shaped and sanded smooth, and finished with a food-safe, mineral oil-based cutting board conditioner.
 
The board does not include the small knifes shown in the photo.
 
To care, simply wash using warm water and a small amount of dish soap. Rinse, wipe clean and allow to dry in an upright position. Never put in the dishwasher or soak in water. Condition the board monthly or whenever the board looks dry with a food-grade cutting board conditioner or food-grade mineral oil.
