This elegant French rolling pin with a traditional Celtic knot pattern is a great addition to every cook’s arsenal of kitchen utensils.
Handcrafted on our vintage wood lathe, this patisserie-style French rolling pin is made of Canadian maple and black walnut, with the walnut forming the Celtic knot pattern.
This rolling pin is ideal for rolling out very even, flat, thin dough such as pastry dough, pie crusts and cookie dough. Easily manoeuvred, the tapered ends allow for easy circular rotation and easily produces perfectly rounded edges.
Our rolling pin is 20 inches (51 cm) in length. Its central 12-inch (30 cm) barrel portion is 1 ¾ inches (4.4 cm) in diameter which, in turn, tapers over a distance of 4 inches (10 cm) at each end to a diameter of 1 inch (2.5 cm), with slenderly rounded ends.
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly with a towel. Do not soak or immerse in water or wash in the dishwasher. If the wood feels dry, apply food grade mineral oil or cutting board conditioner with a lint free cloth.
