Original created in 2012. We had found Lynx footprints near the small river that runs through our place. We never caught a glimpse of the elusive feline. I had an opportunity to study this agile cat at the St. Félicien Zoo in Quebec. Between live sketches, viewing documentaries, observing my own cats throughout the years came this mezzo relief. Silk fibres encased in acrylic form the ear tufts in the cast Winterstone pieces. They are finished with layers and layers of transparent acrylic glazes.
